Erik Magnussen was educated at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts has his own design studio. He has become one of Denmark's most prominent and versatile designers. His works - ranging from tableware to furniture, lamps and high-tech products - are all characterized by simplicity and functional elegance.

For a while he worked as a lecturer at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Erik Magnussen has been awarded several design prizes, and his products are exhibited in museums worldwide.
