A native of Denmark, Jacob Jensen is recognized as one of the leading creators of original form among industrial designers of the 20th century.

During the past 50 years, he has designed more than 500 industrial products ranging in scope from music systems, telephones, and watches, to chairs, cars, and windmills. One of his most remarkable relationships was with audio system manufacturer Bang & Olufsen, for whom he developed nearly 80 revolutionary designs over a 26-year period, many of which were recognized by the design community with international design awards.

With many of his creations included in MoMA's Design Collection, Mr. Jensen has provided the design world with both revolutionary innovation and a quiet beauty in his now-familiar products.
